I'm an interdisciplinary researcher with one foot in anthropology, and the other in history. I like working with people and archives equally - and especially with people in archives!
My specialisms are the history of European tattooing, medical collections, human remains and museums. I completed my PhD on the Wellcome's collection of 300 preserved tattoos at University College London and the Science Museum London (you can find out more about the project on my research blog, Life&6Months).
I'm also a trained tattooist and enjoy aerial circus, particularly silks.
